This was a very big week for Curious Ants! I hope you’re as excited as I am!
For one, I updated the page speed improvement and weekly technical audit processes to reflect new data in Google Search Console: Core Web Vitals. This is not only a reflection of how fast your site is loading but reflects how easy your site is on your visitors (aka website usability). Google recently announced that this will be ranking factors sometime in early 2021. Better get ahead of this today!
There’s been a lot of talk about “nofollow” links from Google, lately. For one, Google recently released a change where they can decide a link passes SEO credit even if it has the “nofollow” attribute to it. Second, Google has recently insisting that all guest blog posts should have external links with the “nofollow” attribute. I’ve updated the appropriate processes to reflect this new information.
These processes are available to paid subscribers.
Oh yeah, something even bigger happened this week. I also welcomed everyone into the entire SEO game plan. This has been a long time coming and I hope you’re ready to start your SEO campaign! Along with full access to paid subscribers, if you’re a member of the Colony you will be invited to participate in weekly office hours starting the week of June 22nd, 2020 (you’ll receive an email telling you when and where to join us. If you’re a Queen, I’m also making myself available to consult with you individually twice a month (you’ll also get an email for that).
Of course, the keyword research process will remain free to anyone who wants to use it. I’m proud to offer these processes for free because I think they are so important to a productive SEO campaign.
SEO seems hard- you have to keep up with all the changes and weed through contradictory advice. This is frustrating and overwhelming. Curious Ants will teach you SEO while bringing your website more traffic and customers- because you’ll learn SEO while doing it.
